Missions and Outreach

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The church is not a building or a program. The church is a community of Christ followers who engage culture by serving and practically demonstrating the love
of God to this hurting world. We believe that every soul matters to God - and if every soul matters to Him, every soul must matter to us! We believe that
Jesus commissioned us to take the Gospel, not just to our own communities and cities, but to every nation and to the ends of the earth!

Missions

Missions is the driving force of Lighthouse Christian Center! We believe that every soul matters to God - and if every soul matters to Him, every soul must matter to us!
We believe that Jesus commissioned us to take the Gospel, not just to our own communities and cities, but to every nation and to the ends of the earth! From the
beginning, we have had an unmistakable and unrelenting heart for the lost. We must reach lost people and share the love and life-changing salvation of Jesus Christ!
We're doing our best to be good stewards of what God has given us so that we can do our part to advance the Kingdom and see Jesus' name made known!

Love God . . . Love People

Community Partners

We are often asked about our involvement in the community. For example, we might hear, "What does Lighthouse Christian Center do for
underprivileged children?" or, "How is Lighthouse Christian Center involved in caring for the homeless?"

These are some great questions!
Several years ago we made a decision not to replicate ministries that are already doing an excellent job meeting specific needs in our community. Instead, we
have chosen to funnel human and financial resources into a handful of organizations that are doing a far better job within their spheres of influence than we could
ever do. At the bottom you will find our current list of what we refer to as Compassion Ministries.

We partner with the organizations at the bottom of this page. By clicking on a name you will be taken directly to the ministry's website. You can also email or call their
volunteer coordinator. If you find an organization that is addressing a need that captures your heart, please contact them directly to find out about the opportunities for
personal ministry. And don't forget to consider how your entire life group can get involved.
